Logistical requirementsDownload Logistical requirements as PDF File The Innovation Fair will be held from 6 to 9 July 2009 at the Palais des Nations in Geneva. The Fair will officially open on 6 July 2009, the first day of the High-level Segment of ECOSOC. During the four days of the event, the Innovation Fair will be opened from 9.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. The dismantling of the booth will start on Thursday, 9 July, at 4 p.m. Please arrange that stands have a presenter at all time. The Innovation Fair will be held in the two official languages of the United Nations - English and French.
Booth:The United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG) will:
- provide each Fair participant with a booth with 3 walls. The space will be adjustable and will be adapted according to the needs of each exhibitor. The dimensions are: Table Dim: 160 x 80; Panneaux Dim: 1.120 x ht.180 or 1.180 x ht. 120 (fixation des affichages par Velcro) (see Annex 1 for pictures). Instead, exhibitors may wish to bring their own booth.
- make available the material which will be needed to compose the booths (tables, chairs and panels)
- provide electricity to each booth and internet access to those who request it.
Preparation:Participants should finalize their booths by Sunday, 5 July 2009, at 5 p.m. UNOG will provide assistance to set up the booth during the weekend before the Fair. However, please note that ICTS support will not be available. All displayed computers will need to have a valid antivirus. Any computer having a virus will immediately be disconnected. When participants are ready to set up their booth, they can pick up their badge at the Pregny gate, Pass and Identification Unit, UNOG Security and Safety Section, accreditation desk (8 ? 14 Avenue de la Paix, 1211 Geneva 10). The names of representatives should appear in the technical table provided by each exhibitor. Any additional names should be sent to Paul Simon at email@example.com, no later than 15 June 2009. The Pass and Identification Unit is open on working days, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Switzerland Materials should be received by the UN in Geneva between 15 and 29 June 2009, but no later than 2 July 2009. The UN in Geneva will carry the materials received to each exhibition booth. Therefore, we request that packages clearly identify the name of the organizations which registered for the Fair, as follows "ECOSOC + Name of Organization". The UN in Geneva will not ship back the materials of exhibitors at the end of the Fair. For more information on the logistical arrangements of the Innovation Fair, please contact:

Security:Participants' materials and equipment can be locked each night in a room. Nevertheless, participants are responsible for looking after their booths' items and materials during the Fair. UNOG declines responsibilities in case of theft or damage.
