50th Session of the Commission on Population and Development (CPD50)

The 50th session of the Commission on Population and Development will take place from 3 to 7 April 2017 at United Nations Headquarters in New York. The Priority Theme of the session is ôChanging population age structures and sustainable developmentö.
Kindly note that due to the space constraints, a maximum of 5 representatives of each organization is permitted.

Please note:

1. Click on the link titled "Registration - Click here" to start assigning representatives. Use your existing username and password to login. If you forgot your login details, click here.
2. Once approved, you will receive a confirmation email. This email message will contain a link that allows you to download your confirmation letter.
3. NGOs can register from November 2016 to 17 March 2017. The registration approval process will start by mid-December 2016.
4. The United Nations will not make travel or visa arrangements or pay for any expenses in connection with the participation of NGO representatives in the sessions of CPD.
5. All pre-registration-related questions should be sent to the official e-mail address: CPD50NGO@un.org. The subject line should read "CPD50 pre-registration".
6. As per the established rules, only NGOs in consultative status with ECOSOC can participate in the Commission.

On-site registration:

Upon arrival at the United Nations, each pre-registered NGO representative MUST register on site in order to obtain a UN grounds pass. Specifics regarding on-site registration and issuance of grounds passes will be provided on the website of the 50th session of the Commission on Population and Development.

That 3 to 7 April 2017 seems favourable and can attract the tourist, especially conferece tourism, for this important session, and we are preparing
