About Climate Week NYC



During the week of September 20th, 2009, hundreds of government and business leaders from around the world will converge upon New York City for a series of high-level meetings and events focused on the most urgent issue of our time: climate change.

Taking place just seventy days before the UN Climate Change Conference, Climate Week NY”ĘC will provide a platform for business, government and citizens to demonstrate their support for world leaders to secure a global deal in Copenhagen.

Climate Week NY”ĘC is a partnership between The Climate Group, the United Nations, the UN Foundation, the City of New York, the Government of Denmark, Tck Tck Tck Campaign and Carbon Disclosure Project. As secretariat, The Climate Group is collaborating with our Partners and Affiliates to stage a series of high-level meetings, panel discussions, cultural events and public engagements to address and underscore the urgency for action on climate change.
