2016 Regular Session, Committee on NGOs

25 January - 03 February, 2016

The 2016 Regular Session of the Committee on NGOs will take place from 25 January to 3 February 2016. The session is expected to consider new applications for status by NGOs as well as applications deferred from earlier sessions. It will also review quadrennial reports of NGOs in general or special consultative status. The Committee is expected to meet again on 16 February 2016 to adopt its report of the session. This session''''s recommendations will be sent to the Economic and Social Council for its approval in April 2016. For updates on the event, click here.

IMPORTANT:
- Please note that the deadline for registration is 11 January 2015.
- Please also note that there is a maximum of TWO representatives per organization.
- No registration is required for organizations already in consultative status. You may attend with your UN grounds pass.
- Only organizations with applications to be considered will be approved. Kindly refer to the information note document that is posted here.

Global Millennium International NGO is in full cooperation with the new Sustainable Development Goals. We are working primarily with the African Sub Sahara relief projects with projects and technologies that cover eradicating poverty and hunger
through Holistic Health methods. Our projects also include partnering with local Universities and building training centers to support our clean water and energy platforms. Global Millennium also produces special technology Green Homes that have a replication factor for any country in the world and is completely self sustainable power and structures to any elements. Solar Farms etc, Domes etc. These are just some of the projects that we have developed for countries around the World.
We are working our latest project with Kenya LAPSSET as a sample, and we are requesting consideration of our application for Consultative status with ECOSOC. Le Regroupement des Jeunes Africains pour la Démocratie et le Développement, Section Togo (REJADD-TOGO) se félicite du travail que la branche des ONG des Nations Unies ne cesse de mener pour accompagner les ONGs à mener plus d'activités dans le sens du développement économique, social et de la protection des droits humains,synonyme d'un développement durable et du bien être. Nous nous réjouissons que notre demande ait été sélectionnée pour être examinée du 25 janvier au 3 février 2016. Nous avons la ferme conviction avec l'appui de l’Éternel, DIEU, que ce statut tant convoité nous sera octroyé pour que nos actions soient plus visibles dans le monde. Ce statut nous permettra non seulement d'être consulté sur divers sujets par les Nations Unies, mais il nous permettra également de bénéficier de certains appuis techniques et de vivre des expériences réussies dans d'autres pays en matière de la contribution des OSC au développement de leur pays. Pour des raisons de moyens financiers, ne nous pouvons plus faire le voyage, malgré que nous avons positionné notre président à faire ce voyage. Le délégué du REJADD-USA, monsieur ATTISSO Yao Hurbert n'a pas pu obtenir une permission auprès de son employeur pour nous représenter. Les autres membres aussi ont eu cette difficulté, par contre d'autres sont à 6 heures voir plus du siège des NU et ne peuvent pas nous représenter. C'est dommage, mais l'essentiel est pour nous d'avoir ce statut à la fin de la session.
