All corporate and associate members are unpaid volunteers.
Because of lack of funding for Operational activities, there is no paid staff. There are occasional interns, none in 2008.
Grants obtained, so far, are for projects in Peru
Corporate Membership consists of the founding members of Yachay Wasi.
In 2008, there are 3 Corporate members: President, Vice-President, Treasurer.
Associate Membership consists of members who have been actively working on a volunteer basis with and for Yachay Wasi. There are at this time 5 Associate members in Peru. |

Yachay Wasi is not a member oriented NGO.
Yachay Wasi services 2 Indigenous organizations and 800 individuals in Peru with concrete sustainable development assistance and information for capacity building and involvement in international affairs. One current environmental project benefiting 36 Indigenous communities has increased this number of individuals to 25,518.
Yachay Wasi with its newsletter, internet mailing list provides information on Indigenous issues and United Nations work to some 521 individuals, including representatives of world Indigenous organizations and some UN agencies officers. Yachay Wasi with its participatory events informs and collaborates with 46 supportive organizations in 28 countries.
