Organizational structure: Not for profit organization with a UK and International advisory board. The Board of Directors make up the constitutional body of Stakeholder Forum and in their personal capacities, come from a variety of stakeholder backgrounds. Together, the Board of Directors oversees the strategic direction and work of Stakeholder Forum. Stakeholder Forums' Honorary Vice Presidents - all of whom were formerly chairs of the UN Commission on Sustainable Development - ensure that the organizations' work bears relevance at high-level international meetings, as well as within their respective regions. In order to assist the Board and staff to keep in touch with stakeholder views and to ensure that SFâ¿¿s work remains relevant to their needs and priorities, the Board and staff are assisted by an International Advisory Board (IAB). The IAB advises SF on the content and balance of its current and future work programs, with regard to current global priorities for sustainable development and to the forthcoming international agendas and opportunities for engagement on these issues. The IAB consists of representatives of leading international stakeholder groups drawn from the major groups recognized by the UN, together with a number of individuals eminent and active in the field of international sustainable development. Membership is by the invitation of the SF Board. The IAB normally meets once each year in New York at the time of the annual meetings of the UN Commission for Sustainable Development.
