Organizational structure:
The Board of Directors of Fundacion Global Democracia y Desarrollo makes decisions in meetings chaired by the foundation's Executive Director, Mr. Marco Herrera. The composition of the Board of Directors changes according to the needs of the institution. The Board of Directors votes to elect members each year and meets regularly to evaluate the work of the institution. The Board of Directors also forms ad hoc committees to address issues that arise as a result of additional funding, interest in projects and partnerships with other institutions. Additional members are added under circumstances such as additional funding and the changing needs of Fundacion Global Democracia y Desarrollo.
Number and type of members:
Fundacion Global Democracia y Desarrollo is not a membership organization in the sense of dues-paying members that carry membership cards. However, many individuals either participate actively in the organization and its activities or support its mission with in-kind/or financial donations (see Financial Report).
