Organizational structure: AFRODAD is governed by a Board of seven people from the five regions of Africa: East, Central, West, South and North. The day to day activities of AFRODAD are undertaken by a Secretariat, based in Harare, Zimbabwe, which is responsible for both programme and administrative activities.
Number and type of members: AFRODAD is a trust and operates on an associate basis instead of a membership basis. The associates are groups initiated by AFRODAD or, in two cases, very close collaborators.
