Mission statement:

Organizational structure: The business of GEM is managed by a Board of Directors, which shall consist of a minimum of five (5) and the maximum of fifteen (15) members, each of whom shall be natural persons of full age and who need not be residents of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Directors must be elected by a two thirds (2/3) majority vote of all directors then serving. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the terms of directors to be elected in any year shall be for a period of years (but not to exceed three (3) years) such that not more than 1/3 of the Board shall be elected in any future year. The President of the GEM board is the Chief Executive Officer with the primary responsibility for the operations of GEM. He/She reports to the board quarterly for advice and direction. The boardias moving from advisory to the role of dirceting the future of GEM.
