Organizational structure: People are at the core of Water For People's mission. The differences in language, backgrounds, identities, ethnicities, skill sets, and years of experience uniquely position Water For People teams to tackle the world's water crisis. Mark Duey, CEO of Water For People, leads a global organization supporting water and sanitation access for Everyone Forever. Collaborations are embedded in everything we do, including his approach to leadership at the global, national, and regional levels. The seven members of Water For People's Global Leadership Team represent the dedication, expertise, and cross-cultural backgrounds of Water For People's employees as they lead strategic decision-making for the organization. Water For People Country Directors are local leaders and experts in their country’s context. These Directors develop strategies, foster relationships, manage operations, promote policies, guide their teams, and empower communities to create lasting change. Global Hub employees support the organization through fundraising, operations, monitoring, evaluation, learning, and more.

Major group affiliation:
  • Non-governmental organization
Affiliation with other organizations: We are in a strategic partnership with IRC WASH, called the One For All Alliance. Additionally, we are members of numerous consortiums for collaboration, such as Agenda for Change and Sanitation and Water for All. In every country of operation, we belong to central networks of Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene NGOs. For example, in the US, we co-founded the Vessel Collective, to bring a unified voice to organizations working to close the water and sanitation access gap across the country.
