Organizational structure: Superior body - Conference; in the period between conferences: the Board. Governing Body of the International Centre of the Roerichs; Presidents: 1999 – 2007: Juli Vorontsov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russian Federation to India, Special representative of the UN Secretary General; 2009 – 2014: Prof. Alexey Postnikov, Professor, Doctor of technical sciences. 2014 – (to the present) Alexander Losukov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russian Federation First Vice-president, Director General of the Public Museum by name of Nicholas Roerich (from the foundation to the present): Lyudmila Shaposhnikova, Honored Art-worker of Russian Federation, RAS academician, laureate of the international Neru Prize and the EU Prize for Cultural Heritage. Vice-President: Alexander Stetsenko The main structural unit of the International Centre of the Roerichs is the public Non-Governmental Museum named after Nicholas Roerich. It was founded on the basis of heritage passed to the ICR by Svetoslav Roerich. In addition, the structure of the organization features branches in Russia (St. Petersburg, Crimea) and abroad (Ukraine, Belarus, Bulgaria, Latvia) and also affiliated branch in Bulgaria. During the period of its existence the museum representing the largest collection of paintings by Nicolas and Svetoslav Roerichs has managed to become a major cultural, scientific, educational and spiritual centre for people from all over the world. In the ICR structure were created such scientific and research departments as – The Centre for Humane Pedagogy and the United Scientific Centre for Cosmic Thinking Problems where Russian and foreign scientists conduct their researches and have an opportunity to publish the results of their investigations. The Publication department of the ICR has issued over 200 publications with the aggregate circulation over 700,000 copies, including not only the books by the Roerichs, but also publications on different fields of scientific and cultural researches.
