Organizational structure: The Leitner Center is overseen by a board of directors, which is responsible for overall policy and direction of the Center. The board delegates responsibility for the day-to-day operations to the staff and committees.
Number and type of members: The Leitner Center is not a membership-based organization. However, at any given time, there are approximately 100 active students, interns, affiliated scholars, faculty, and staff. The Center currently has 16 full time staff members based in New York, 1 post-graduate fellow, 4 fully-funded LLM students, 8 Crowley scholars, an average of 60 clinical students per year, and approximately 8 student interns. Many other students and members of the human rights community take part in Leitner programming.
