Purpose of the organization: | To contribute to the educational, cultural, social, health and sportive development of people with disabilities in the world and in Turkey and to encourage the whole public to solidarity and to contribute to their solidarity and development in individual, social institutional dimensions, to assist and invest in the education, health, and social fields of people with disabilities, to raise awareness, to raise the level of education, to accelerate its development, to enlighten all segments of society on these issues by ensuring solidarity, to help them acquire professions by opening vocational courses and schools, to make all kinds of investments in the technical field to ensure their benefit, to help their education. To contribute to their education, in line with this purpose, to open and operate kindergartens, nurseries, Primary Schools, vocational and technical schools, colleges, high schools, colleges, institutes, academis and universities, to operate by participating in those already opened, to make all kinds of medical investments and research in the fields of health. To open hospitals, health centers, dispensaries, and rehabilitation centers, to participate in and operate or have operated those already opened, to establish and operate nursing homes and rest homes for the elderly and people in need of care in order to provide the treatment of disabled people by importing or developing medicine and medical technologies. |

Confirmation of the activities of the organization at the regional, national or international level: | Our foundation founded a global and inclusive organisation, the World Disability Union - WDU, centred in Istanbul and Sharjah with 300 organisations from 75 countries. We prepared the Universal Standards Guide for Disabled People. Our foundation officially registered the USTAD Universal Standards for Disability Certification as a Turkish brand We organised Employment-guaranteed Training Courses and Personal Development Courses for disabled persons. We initiated the creation of the World Report on Disability Perception. We hosted the Awareness Concert featuring Metin Şentürk and the Cinema Symphony Orchestra, a world first. |
