Mission statement:	Human Life International is a Catholic apostolate seeking to respond to our calling as followers of Jesus Christ by building a Culture of Life and of Love around the world through education, outreach, advocacy, and service. HLI pursues this mission through the following efforts: We promote and defend the authentic rights and dignity of every human being from the moment of conception to the moment of natural death. We serve and protect the most vulnerable members of society, each of whom is made in the image and likeness of God. We address all life issues with fidelity to the teaching of the Catholic Church, including: abortion, contraception, chastity, marriage, and family, with love for all of God's people regardless of their beliefs. We uphold and defend the authentic social and moral teaching of the Catholic Church on issues related to life, marriage, and family. We advocate in the public square for a clear understanding of authentic, basic, fundamental human rights granted to all people by God. In response to our Lord Jesus Christ, we serve our brothers and sisters by living out the Gospel of Life and by proclaiming a message of mercy. Organizational structure:	Human Life International has a Board of Directors which maintains fiduciary and oversight responsibilities. The executive team made up of the president, vice president for missions, and vice president for operations are responsible for setting vision and direction for the organization. There are five Regional Coordinators,for Latin America, Asia, Europe, French-Speaking West Africa and English-Speaking East Africa. The individual department directors and managers are responsible for making the procedure decisions in order to achieve the organization's vision. The decision making progress is a bottom up approach where those closest to the work are given the authority to determine the process and procedures necessary for advancing the corporate mission.
