Organizational structure: There are 4 departments within our organisation that are formed according to specific goals of our project and area of study. They include the Research Department, the Communications Department, and Partnership Department, which are all three equal and interconnected, and their harmonized work is ensured by the forth, the Coordination Department. Each department has one leader and a team of about 3 people. Therefore, every department has a specific objective to carry out within their field of work. Thus, the Research Department team observes different models of governance pertaining to sustainable development in order compile analytical documents on the subject. The Department of Communications is engaged in providing event updates and explaining the goals of our project to the public through activities such as publications on the project's website. The Department of Partnership is in charge of researching, establishing and maintaining partnerships and strong relations with public and private institutions. Finally, the Coordination Department is working on defining and honing in on our final project goals as well as planning and coordinating its activities and the management of administrative and financial questions. All the departments' team leaders, as well as the President, the Secretary and the Treasurer of our organisation are elected in accordance to democratic principles.
Number and type of members: Our organization is composed of fifteen members all attending the Panthéon-Assas University, (one of the most renown universities in France) and completing a Master's degree in International Relations. Our members are characterized by their youth and diversity. We are between the ages of 21 and 25, with diverse backgrounds bachelor degrees in law, economics, history, and political science and we are of different nationalities (French, American, Russian, Japanese). This youth and diversity make us a very dynamic organization.

Additional Information

Sustainable Development

Affiliation with other organizations: Our organization is supported by the Centre Thucydide, which is a research institute of the University Panthéon-Assas. The Centre Thucydide is dedicated to the study of International Political Relations.
Publications: Within the framework of our project, we aim at publishing a compendium of documents which will include an analysis of global governance in the field of sustainable development. More precisely, this analysis will be focused on the triangular relations between the States, Corporations and NGOs in the context of multilateral negotiations taking place at the UNCSD. This work will be published in October 2012 with the support of our professors and university PhD students.
