Purpose of the organization:
The Harvard Law School Project on Disability (HPOD) promotes the human rights of persons with disabilities worldwide. HPOD works to empower all people to use the Convention to develop fully equitable societies. HPOD supports the development of disability civil society, informs innovative legislative and policy development, provides legal advice and human rights training to persons with disabilities, DPOs, United Nations agencies, NGOs, National Human Rights Institutions, and Governments.
