Social Development

Affiliation with other organizations: KEAN is a member of the Anna Lindh Foundation national network which brings together NGOs at a national and European level. KEAN supports the international non-governmental organisation Love146, for the creation of a campaign in Greece against child trafficking and exploitation. KEAN has created many partnerships with other NGOs nationally and internationally in relation to Planetbook activity. Some of the organisations are Worldwatch Institute Europe, Greenpeace, WWF, Earth Day Network, Connect4Climate-World Bank, Tree People, Student Environmental Action Coalitions, Trees for the Future, Ecologists in Action, Hellenic Ornithological Society and other. The above mentioned organisations, have provided for the scientific validity of Planetbook. Also, KEAN has been collaborating in activities and projects with the European Parliament in Greece.

Description of the membership of the organization, indicating the total number of members: There are two types of membership: 1. Simple Member - Supporter By registering as a simple member - supporter, someone has the following privileges at KEAN: Immediately receive e-mail account in the form xxxx@kean.gr, without restrictions on its use, in order to have a stable channel of communication between the KEAN and the member. Receive a newsletter twice a month to stay informed about KEAN's activities. Receive free shipping on Planetbook in the address provided. Someone has the right to participate in voluntary actions KEAN. 2. Regular member The members have all the privileges of an ordinary member plus: Participation in the annual scientific conference of KEAN. Right to participate in European mobility programs. Right to vote and stand for election to the Board of KEAN. Right to establish working groups for the implementation of a program.
