Affiliation with other organizations: UN Alliance of Civilizations: Global Dialogue Foundation has worked in close collaboration with the UN Alliance of Civilizations since 2010, promoting intercultural dialogue and understanding and anchoring the mission of the Alliance of Civilizations in grassroots communities around the world.
Publications: VOICE Magazine. Launched in 2013, issued every 2 months.
Purpose of the organization: 1. Strengthening the role of civil society organisations to promote intercultural dialogue, cultural diversity and inclusion, at grassroots level within their own countries and across them. 2. Improving relations within and between all cultural, ethnic and religious groups, including all minorities, majorities and migrants in the country, preventing persistent tensions and divides. 3. Supporting the efforts of the UN Alliance of Civilizations to close the gap between government institutions and civil society organizations. 4. Contributing in expanding the number of countries participating in the mission of the Alliance of Civilizations at grassroots level and driving the development of intercultural actions around the world. 5. Creating opportunitities for partnerships with socially responsible business in the private sector, encouraging entrepreneurship, mentoring with a focus on developing new employment opportunities in participating countries, and trading relations across the Diaspora.
