Mission statement:	Common Sense Youth Organization was founded by a group of young people as a non-political, non-profit, non-governmental organization in the city of Sumgait in 2006. Common Sense Youth Organization (CSYO) has 15 years of experience working through non-formal education, concentrating on youth work, voluntarism, peace-building, social economy, active citizenship, and participation. It is aimed to raise awareness on active citizenship, volunteering, develop non-formal education, and create an inclusive society for all. The objectives: - to deliver the importance of non-formal education in the lifelong learning process; - to make the youth be aware of their civic responsibility and increase active citizenship; - to promote a healthy lifestyle and show the consequences of bad habits; - to raise environmental awareness and the significance of environmental protection among the youth; - to advocate for human rights and equality; - to underpin peacebuilding and conflict prevention; - to promote the concept of social entrepreneurship;

Organizational structure:	4 times a year, all the members of the organization come together in the General Assembly. All structural changes are made, annual activity and financial reports are given, as well as Action Plan to the next year is discussed in the General Assembly. Additionally, election to the positions such Chairman, Deputies chairman and Board members are opened and presentations of candidates are heard. The structure of the organization consists of the Board and the Secretariat The Board (decision-making body): Chairman, deputies’ chairman, and Board members are part of this decision making body. This staff is formed biennially by-election for two years in the General Assembly where all members of the organization since its foundation participate and vote. Chairman is considered a legal representative of the organization and takes all the decisions. As a result of the 2020 election average age of the board is 23. The Secretariat (executive body): Execution of all decisions taken in the General Assembly and by Board members, of projects and events, as well as financial issues of the organization are within the responsibilities of the Secretary-General and other members of the Secretariat. Secretary-General and other members of the Secretariat are selected by the Board members. All the members of the organization annually pay a membership fee and they have a right to elect and to be elected.
