Purpose of the organization: The APF as a network of national human rights institutions in the Asia and Pacific region provides advisory, networking and capacity-building services to our members to support them in their efforts to promote and protect human rights and to comply with international norms and standards.
Activities relevant to the conference of States Parties to the convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities: NHRIs are designated as National Monitoring Mechanisms under Article 33 of CRPD.
Confirmation of the activities of the organization at the regional, national or international level: The APF undertakes activities both regionally within the Asia Pacific region and nationally with our 22 member NHRIs and 4 applicant member NHRIs.
