Mission statement:	GEM seek to be a leading International non-profit organization enhancing employment skills and earnings opportunities for the poor and disadvantaged people, especially women, children in urban poor communities in Georgia, New York and West Africa, through practical and employment skills, business management and leaders training that enhances their full integration and equal participation in the household, the community, the workplace and in national life. Global Empowerment Movement (GEM) is an International non-governmental organization working with poor and disadvantaged women, children and persons to create positive change in their social, economic and human rights circumstances in the state of Georgia, New York and West Africa. GEM was founded and duly registered in State of Georgia in 2 015 and obtained her 501(c) 3 status in the United States. GEM is committed to working with poor and disadvantaged people, especially women and children building critical lifesaving skills and inspiring them to greater heights, thereby helping to restore poor and disadvantaged families, communities unto the path of sustainable development.
