Involvement in UN Partnerships: Yes
If yes, explain in detail: On May 2016, we cooperate with UNAIDS China to carry out a project assessment in Yingjiang, Yunnan province. In the 33 local schools the project covers, 161 interviews were carried out with school directors, teachers, students and parents; 1900 questionnaires were finished by teachers and students to evaluate the efficacy of the project. The result of the project assessment showed that a group of over 1000 indigenous teachers who had been trained by our project served to convey the knowledge about AIDS and sexual health so the number of cases as HIV infection and sexual harassment had been greatly reduced. Furthermore, the terror and discrimination against AIDS was diminished. On Sep. 2016, UNAIDS Executive Director Michel Sidibé visited one of our stations in Ruili, Yunnan province. He spoke highly of our project for establishing long-term mechanism to prevent AIDS infection by means of sexual health education.
