Mission statement:	The aims of the Aydın Doğan Foundation, whose foundations were laid in 1996, are to ensure that objective and correct information is accessible, that society can solve its problems in a free and fair manner, that investments are made to increase the level of education and culture, and to support all effort towards making these possible. Foundation activities for public interest have been focused on education, culture, public health, scientific research, sports and the economy. Education is one of the support areas the Aydın Doğan Foundation has been prioritizing, and has undertaken as a mission from the outset. The most significant token of this mission has been its contribution to the economy and the development of a skilled workforce through support and incentives for education. In addition to this, the Aydın Doğan Foundation is conducting work focused especially on education and the transition from education to the workforce to empower young women with the aim of contributing to social gender equality.
