Organizational structure: WDMPU functions according to the NGO legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Charter registered by the Ministry of Justice. The highest decision making body of the organization is the General Assembly where all members participate. The General Assembly gathers once a year and makes discussions on Charter and general line of the organization. It also elects the Board and chairman of Board for 2 years. The Board consists of 7 members. The Board meets on a quarterly basis and approves strategic goals, program directions and financial reports of the organization. Except the Chairman, other members of the Board cannot be a member of the Staff, but can serve as a consultant and expert within projects. The Board submits its report to the General Assembly. Both meetings of General Assembly and the Board are recorded. The current activity of the Board is implemented by Chairman of the Board.
Number and type of members: WDMPU have 237 members consisted of mainly women and young girls who are active in their own communities. Women from remote areas and also with vulnerable backgrounds (IDPs, Disabled Women, divorced women and etc.) are also among the members.

If yes, explain in detail: WDMPU has recently successfully completed a project called "Prevention and Response to Sexual and Gender Based Violence in Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) communities"; funded and coordinated by UNCHR office in Azerbaijan. WDMPU is realized many outreach campaigns and capacity building activities in the IDP communities located in Baku and other 5 regions of the Republic of Azerbaijan. All project activities implemented with the close cooperation of the local authorities. It taught police authorities capacity how to deal with the domestic violence and other violence forms against women. Training also involved active women and other community leaders from IDP communities. As a result of the training, WDMPU established informal networks between communities in order to facilitate information flow of the violence facts against women.
Publications: WDMPU prepared following publications: Report on the Study Survey conducted within «Prevention and Response to Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) in Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) Communities» project. 2017 The Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) on Sexual and Gender-based Violence are developed by taking into consideration most of the requirements of the same-name guidance of UN High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR). 2017.
