Organizational structure: The Foundation is governed by the Governance Committee. The Governance Committee elects its Scientific Committee that advises on scientific matters, identifies research priorities and helps in the organization of the international research networks. The Advisers Committee develops the policy of the Academy, endorses its annual activities program and allocates the budget. The Foundation plays an important role in the promotion of peace and prosperity by fostering wide international scientific and technological collaboration without distinction of race, gender, language or religion. The Scientific Committee activities include: Fostering new scientific and technological approaches Strengthening the Asian industrial sector Assisting in the creation of businesses (including newcomers) built on advanced technologies Strengthening the international scientific co-operation Creation of a critical mass of scientists and engineers to solve the most important scientific and technological problems that affect the quality of human life Promotion of new discoveries via international workshops and special publications Promotion of fundamental research as the basis of scientific and technological progress.

Description of the membership of the organization, indicating the total number of members: Dr. Neo Kok Beng is an award-winning engineer, educator & entrepreneur specialized in technological innovations and commercialisation. Amongst his accolades include the Presidents’ Design Award, Prime Minister Community Service Award, USA Veterans’ Affairs Innovation Initiative Award, Global Entrepreneurship Winner, Harvard Kennedy School Service Award & NUS Innovation & Enterprise Awards. He has also been visiting professors /adjunct faculty / instructor in innovation and entrepreneurship at distinguished global universities covering countries in USA (Harvard & Stanford), China (Tsinghua, Fudan and Nanjing), Russia (Kazan Federal), India (Indian School of Business) and Singapore (NUS, NTU, SUTD and SMU). Kok Beng worked for Singapore Technologies and raised from system engineer to vice-president (new business ands strategic planning) in 10 years, covering corporate investments, aerospace, information technology and electronics sectors. He heads overseas subsidiaries in Silicon Valley and Shanghai. He was the inventor of the world’s first wearable artificial kidney and developed Singapore’s first urban aerial vehicle (“flying car”). He is also co-founder/Chairman of several deeptech ventures covering areas in medical technology (AWAK, Breathonix, Roceso Technologies, E3A Healthcare and Craft Health) and advanced engineering (E2S2 Systems, Fronka, BeeX, Advanced Terahertz and NEO Aeronautics). He was Vice-President of the Institution of Engineers and a member of the Engineering Accreditation Board and Singapore Chartered Accountant’s Disciplinary Panel. He has served more than 10 years on the Singapore Government Parliamentary Committee of Finance, Trade & Industry. Together with NASA astronaut Jeff Williams, he has launched a series of Space Exploration Awareness programmes to interest youth in Space careers recently. He also delivers the ASPIRE show (in partnership with Science Centre Singapore and Singapore Institute of Technology) to inspire youth in STEM education, innovation and entrepreneurship.
