Office of the Special Adviser on Africa
Purpose: Achievement and support of democratic and participatory environmental governance to enable equitable and sustainable development and the democratization of environmental governance.
Illustrative Project: EJNF facilitated the participation of civil society in South Africa's new environmental policy formulation process. EJNF organized workshops where previously marginalized interests gave input to the consultative National Environmental Policy Process (CONNEPP).
