The Carbon War Room launched in June 2009 following a successful meeting hosted by Rockefeller Brothers Fund at the Pocantico Conference Center. Under the leadership of Board Chair José Maria Figueres, former President of Costa Rica and Jigar Shah, Chief Executive Officer of CWR and founder of SunEdison, the Carbon War Room engages our Founders, Board of Advisors and staff of subject experts in operations, research, and communications to identify and implement scalable market-driven solutions to climate change. |
