The five major indigenous groups namely Santhal, Oraon, Munda, Ho and Kharia of Jharkhand in five districts where majority of them live are covered by Adivasi women''s Network (AWN).
AWN is a member of Asia Indigenous Peoples Pact (AIPP)and working on a three years project as one of the project partner.
AWN is also in network with Asian Indigenous Women''s Network, Phillipines.
AWN also initiated a inter state indigenous women''s network a national level network in India. |
