Activities relevant to the conference of States Parties to the convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities: With The professional and social mission of Enosh knowledge is very relevant to the work of the convention of persons with disabilities through our experience in development of new projects as a leading body in Israel dealing with the issue of mental disability and rehabilitation. The professional discipline of rehabilitation in mental health is very young and developed – the knowledge constantly increases, especially from the experiences of people in the field. With developments in psychiatry, the people that enjoy our services are different than in the past. With our varied and widespread services we are the leading organization in this field in Israel, with consistently developing knowledge. We hope to contribute to international activities to promote knowledge and the rights of people with mental disabilities, and their families.. Enosh contributes to the public discourse on mental health issues in Israel. As part of our advocacy efforts, we lead the Israeli mental health month by promoting activities in Enosh branches, municipal councils , media discourse (all paper and electronic media) and activities in local communities. Enosh is involved in legislation and lobbying for people with disabilities and is part of the Coalition for promoting the implementation of the CRPD and the Coalition for legal capacity (promoting article 12 in the CRPD). Our professional developments in the mental disability area are exported internationally via conventions in academic issues regarding mental health and rehabilitation of the professional staff; via the exchanging of ideas with other countries (Australia, Vietnam). Enosh is a member of the World Federation of Mental Health (WFMH).
