Mission statement:	UAC's mission is to break down cultural and language barrier, promote cultural diversity and equality, and connect people from different backgrounds around the world through calligraphy, one of the world's long and great artistic traditions and a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage. Like Music and poetry, calligraphy is one of the hallmarks of our human existence and forms a common thread that united all civilizations and cultures. It is a cross-cultural language that belongs to the whole mankind, and its beautiful lines and rhythms represent a celebration of our emotional lives and our natural environment. As a cultural heritage, calligraphy serves as a link among diverse cultures and humanities, knits communities together with a sense of continuity, and is essential to the UN mission of peace, cultural diversity and sustainable development.
