Organizational structure: The Executive Committee is the organ of the Accademia charged with carrying out the programs of the Accademia, and allocating its financial resources. It performs all the executive, strategic, and administrative functions of the Accademia. The Executive Committee is nominated by the Assembly of the members and comprises five members chosen among the Founding Members and the Ordinari Members. Their term is of five years and it can be renewed. The Executive Committee is convened at least once a year by the President. The President of the Executive Committee is the legal representative of the Accademia di Gagliato. The President convenes and presides over the Assembly and the Executive Committee. The President can be invested with all or parts of the powers of the Executive Committee. The Secretary’s duties include correspondence, communications and convocations of meetings; management of the archives and all materials produced by the Accademia; preparation of the minutes of the Assembly of the Members and of the Executive Committee; and preparation of all financial reports. The Executive Committee selects the Ordinary Members on the basis of their scholarship in the fields pertaining to the activities of the Accademia, and invites them to join the Accademia with a communication via e-mail.
Number and type of members: The organization does not have a formal membership process, and members of the organization are considered all participants to its initiatives in the role of speakers, or volunteers.
