Action for Pune Development is governed by the Board of Directors, which includes the President, Secretary and Treasurer. Minimum four board meetings are conducted annually wherein crucial decisions are made on the basis of majority votes and the members can exercise equal voting rights for the same. The registered members are assigned various departments on the basis of their specialisation and work experience. There are four main departments, namely: Public relations and marketing, Editorial, Planning and Co-ordination and Technical department. Every department has a designated head, selected on the basis of majority through annual elections. The Secretary functions as the point of contact between various departments and it is the duty of the heads of each department to update the Secretary about completion of various tasks undertaken by respective department. Although there is a governing body in the organisation, members can freely approach the directors and put forth their views and ideas for upcoming projects. |
