Mission statement:	‘Accept’ rather than ‘Exclude’. Under this principle, Accept International takes action to eradicate terrorism and resolve conflicts worldwide. In today’s world, violent extremism has continued to persist, with certain conflicts seeing little to no progress towards ending. This ongoing issue has been caused by mistakes in extremism-related global governance, where current methods of counter-extremism, including violent military actions, such as air strikes, and corrective measures for example a one-sided religious re-education, have shown little promise in establishing sustainable solutions. As a result of these methods, there is often little change, or even a worsening in de-radicalization and reintegration of people formerly involved with extremist groups. What is more concerning, because of the intensification of armed conflicts and unending terrorist attacks, hatred and discrimination against extremist members grow in local communities, subsequently discouraging such people to de-radicalize and reintegrate back into society. Thus, we do not see any sign of decrease, but rather an increase of people joining violent extremist organizations, only to enhance their influence. In order to overcome such issues, we implement operations that provide and create a path to prevent radicalization, de-radicalization, and proactive reintegration for people associated with violent extremism, as well as individuals that are vulnerable to be such extremists, namely gang members. Furthermore, by creating an environment where communities accept such individuals, terrorists and gang members can de-radicalize and be reintegrated, eventually seeing diminishment of them joining violent organizations. Our organization targets such individuals as a result of the efforts done by international society. Much to their efforts, aid and compassion has been seen against children, women, and refugees. However, it is the people who get shut out from such trends that cause terrorist actions. As such individuals are of urgent concern, even though they are barely looked upon, and the key to solve violent extremism, we target them. Absolutely no one is born a terrorist, and we have learned from history that armed forces alone do not help end extremism.

Organizational structure:	Accept International is a non-governmental organization based in Japan, operating in Somalia, Kenya, and Indonesia. The organization consists of 4 departments. 1. Overseas Projects(Somalia, Kenya, Indonesia, General Affairs of Overseas Projects) 2. Domestic Projects (Social Re-integration, Rehabilitation Protection Support) 3. Fundraising and Public Relations (Media, Sales, Management) 4. Administration (Personnel Planning, General Affairs and Planning) In the Department of Overseas Projects, local staffs have been hired in each of the operating countries. There is a department manager in each department, with the CEO, Yosuke Nagai, as the lead manager in the organization.
Number and type of members:	The managers in each of the 4 departments are paid staffs, as well as the local staffs in the operating countries. Furthermore, there are 3 part-time staffs, approximately 30 interns, and 20 pro-bono members to contribute to our activities.
