As the national umbrella organization, the association has twenty two (22), member NGOs representing national and local organizations of different groups of the disabled population, including the Deaf, Blind people, children with disabilities, youth with disabilities, disabled women's rights organizations, war veterans, and HIV/AIDS positive population. The member NGOs' activities range from education and cultural programs for disabled children, sports clubs to news organizations, and employment promotion for persons with disabilities. The member organizations unite under the Association for the promotion of international human rights treaties like CRC, CEDAW, ICCPR, ICESCR, and CRPD. |
