Mission statement:	MISSION: Defending the Peoples, fighting in their sacred territories, and for the guarantee of all their rights, defending differentiated health and education, differentiated as such and as specific to each People, and seeking the appreciation of traditional practices, cultural love. THE VISION that guides APOINME's performance: It is born from what they see and dream that founded the Organization: “An organized and organized movement in the region that covers the Northeast, strengthening and fighting for the guarantee and protection of territories and indigenous peoples, recognizing a unique, articulated, organized movement that fights for the memory of indigenous peoples. such as our social organizations, uses, customs, beliefs and traditions, and our cosmological views.” VALUES: Spirituality Commitment and responsibility to the land and indigenous peoples Earth as sacred space Convergence, connection and communication Honesty with the institution’s mission and values Transparency as a moral and ethical commitment Promoting the well-being of indigenous peoples Valuing women as the 5th sacred element of the universe Relationship of Belonging to the Institution Relationship between memories, stories and future perspectives FORCES: The Union of Spirits, Knowledge, Commitment, and Resistance of Warriors from 75 Indigenous Peoples from 10 Different States, which makes APOINME the largest indigenous organization in Brazil. APOINME acts to maintain and its great CAPACITIES to: Articulation of the bases Building units, consensus and resistance, according to the specificities of each Microregion and People; Conflict mediation and conciliation Action and participation in the main spaces of the indigenous movement Its organizational structure is also a strength, because it allows for great capillarity of its action and presence through the Microregions, strengthening the empowerment and protagonism of various leaders who integrate and/or coordinate as Micros.
