Mission statement:	Purpose: to improve the quality and relevance of policy information within the multilateral system, and to support effective policy implementation by providing expert advice, research and analysis to decision makers; to create with its members an international network of scholars and experts familiar with the complex issues of politics, technology, and governance that are of central importance to leaders and their representatives; and to work towards the universalisation of an operational understanding of the structures, norms and functions of the multilateral system, in order to make them accessible to delegates to international organizations and to civil society, and to members of the press, academia, unions, cooperatives and social movements.
