    Year of registration: 1995
    Organizational structure: The General Assembly is the supreme organ of the organization which gathers annually to review and approve organizational policies. There is a Board of Directors that oversees the policy implementation and is composed of international delegates and representatives from all the continents. The international board of directors sits at the headquarters in Lyon, France. At the continent/region are regional liaison offices. At country level are charters that report to the regional liaison offices and a managed by national secretariats. Membership to the organization is by subscription.
    Number and type of members: 25,000 members globally. Founder members, affiliate members and honorary members.
