    Organizational structure: Secretariat guided by Steering Committee. Steering Committee is composed of Working Group coordinators and regional focal points. Working Groups provide vehicles for focusing on specific issues. Regioners work with place-based members and local or regional issues. There is also a Planning Group for specific campaigns.
    Number and type of members: The Citizens Network for Sustainable Development (CitNet) is an independent, non-profit voluntary network bringing together US-based organizations, communities, and individuals working on sustainability issues across the United States.
    Affiliation with NGO networks: CitNet members include various NGO networks. CitNet also works in partnerships with other NGO networks.
