Organizational structure: |
The governing body of CACCI is a Council composed of the presidents and/or representatives (not more than five) of each Primary Member. The Council, which meets at least once a year, has the power to: (a) rule on memberships; (b) formulate agenda and rules of procedure for Council meetings and Conferences; and (c) rule on interpretations of the CACCI Constitution. It also exercises other powers stated in Articles III of the Constitution, such as to elect from among its members a President, four Vice Presidents, and an Honorary Treasurer for a term of two years. The President serves as the chief executive and presiding officer of CACCI. He appoints, with the approval of the Council, a Director-General and a Deputy Director-General. The Director-General forms a Staff for the operation of the CACCI Secretariat. |
