Organizational structure: |
The AHA is led by a 13-member elected board of directors who oversee the organization and are responsible for long- and medium-term planning. The national office is run by an executive director, who also serves as a non-voting member of the board of directors. The executive director is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the AHA, and is responsible for the 20 staff members that work on various projects and programs for the AHA. |
