Mission statement:	A Multi-Media and Culture Organization with the status# 501(c)(3) - http://www.lightmillennium.org The purposes of The Light Millennium are listed below: a) To provide an international platform for the free expression of ideas and experiences in order to foster a global connection among all people; b) To engender harmony and synergy among the nations of the world, including but not limited to synergy between Turkey and Greece; c) To promote social welfare for the people of Turkey, Greece and the United States; d) To conduct research, compile and publish information concerning art, literature, and ideas, including, but not limited to, ideas about the future; e) To provide a medium for the exchange of ideas for the purposes of facilitating transmission exchange and communication of information; f) To promote the theory and practice of the principles of good government and good citizenship; g) To unite individuals in the bonds of friendship, good fellowship and mutual understanding; h) To provide a forum for the full and free discussion of all matters of public interest, partisan politics and sectarian religion alone excepted; i) To do all lawful acts and things which may be necessary, useful or proper for the furtherance or accomplishment of the purposes of this Corporation; and j) The above purposes shall be construed as both objects and powers, and the enumeration of specific purposes shall not be held to limit or restrict in any manner the powers of this Corporation. Organizational structure:	The Light Millennium (LM) is a volunteer based and seeded global multi-media and culture organization. It has been practicing open participations since its inception that does not have a membership-based status. The LM is an open global platform to all peoples from the all walks of life in every corner of the world. The organization practices and works towards its mission and vision through its 3 main platforms: 1) E-PUBLICATIONS: http://wwww.lightmillennium.org The organization's web site, acts as a globally seeded platform to present all ideas side by side; to encourage intellectual productivity through its e-publications; to promote Fostering Global Connectivity; Freedom of Expression; Cultural Diversity; Global Partnerships for Development and PEACE; Advancing Culture of Peace; Girls and Women Rights; from the all walks of life in every corner of the world to promote and contribute towards public awareness, in particular, within the context of the Article 19, Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the 2000 Millennium Declaration, and moving forward, the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda. It also aims to contribute to removing all forms of prejudices, and working towards a cultural globalization and global peace. 2) TELEVISION Programs: The Light Millennium TV/LMTV programs have been shown on Queens Public TV's 4 channels since January 2000, and has sustained monthly or weekly series and/or SPECIAL programs. Expanded to Manhattan Network Neighborhood-MNN.Org in 2012 to the date. Further, some of LMTV Programs are available on the organization's website (lightmillennium.org/lmtv/2016.html) and through Vimeo.com/lmtv. For more information: http://www.lightmillennium.org/lmtv/all.html 3) PUBLIC Events: We collaborate, and are able in most cases, with various educational institutions, NGOs/CSOs, Member States and UN entities in support of the UN Resolutions/Programs, MDGS and currently SDGS that are including the annual UN DPI.NGO conferences. Starting in January 2016, we’ve been incorporating the SDGS with the organizations programs including LMTV and upcoming 66th UN DPI.NGO Conference in Republic of Korea. Number and type of members:	Although it is not a member based organization, The Light Millennium has more than 1200 content contributors, participants as speakers and guests for its web sites, public events and television programs.

Funding structure other:	The LM is capable to produce its e-publications, events, television programs, and expand its reach outs via in collaboration, in-kinds donations, volunteers, and event-based financial sponsors to cover mainly airfare and hotel expenses of the speakers.
