    Organizational structure: ISESCO is made up of the following : The General Conference. The Executive Council. The General Directorate. The General Conference Composition of the General Conference The General Conference shall be composed of the representatives of the Member States of ISESCO, who shall be appointed by their Governments. In selecting representatives, it shall be observed that they be among officials working in the fields of education, science, culture and communication. Composition of the General Conference Bureau In each one of its sessions, the General Conference shall elect its President, three Vice-presidents, a rapporteur and the chairmen of the Committees set up by the Conference, who, in addition to the Chairman of the Executive Council, constitute the Bureau of the Conference.
    Number and type of members: 50 Member States. Every full Member State of the Organization of the Islamic Conference shall become a member of ISESCO upon signing officially the Charter, and after it has completed the membership legal and legislative formalities and informed - in writing - the General Directorate of ISESCO. A State which is not a full member, or is an observer member of the Organization of the Islamic Conference cannot become a member of ISESCO. Composition of the Council : The Executive Council shall be made up of one representative for each Member State. The Member States shall nominate their representatives to the Executive Council who, in addition to being versed in education, science, culture and communication, must have the necessary experience and capability for shouldering the tasks lying with the Council. Every Member State may change its representative at any time.
