ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE AND MANAGEMENT BODIES OF THE UNION The followings are the management bodies of the Union: • General Assembly; • Board; • Control - Supervising Commission. The supreme management body of the Union is General Assembly of its members. The General Assembly convenes at least once in three years. Extraordinary General Assembly convenes upon the initiative of one third of the members of the Union or upon the initiative of the Board. Control - Supervising Commission may raise the issue of calling extraordinary General Assembly before the Board. Members of the Union shall be notified about the venue and time of the General Assembly three weeks prior to the assembly. In the period between the General Assemblies general management of the Union is carried out by the Board. Composition, formation and number of the members of the Board is determined by the General Assembly through voting. The Board consists of the chairman of the Board, deputies of the chairman and representatives of member organizations, and carries out executive functions. Management of the current activity of departments is carried out by the Secretary General. Control - Supervising Commission of the Union supervises that activities of the authorized officials and participants are in compliance with the Charter, and financial activity of the Union. |
Number and type of members: |
Members of the Union may be non-commercial legal entities, national non-governmental youth platform organizations functioning in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan and in foreign countries and international non-governmental youth platform organizations working with young people. Members of the Union maintain their independence and rights of legal entity. There are full members and observer members of organization. Currently, the number of the member organizations and observers has increased to 37.
