AMST is made up of a Chairperson who acts as coordinator and administrative officer and one representatives for each member country. It is represented by a Chief Representative Ajay bhagat and programs officer for the International. The organization aims to rotate its location and Chair between member regions every 3 years, but this is not always possible. |

Where possible, Indigenous organizations from member countries and regions are included as members. Where there is no organization in place, representatives play the role of mediator between AMST and the Indigenous community or nation |
