    Organizational structure: 6.1. Structural subdivisions of the RUJ are: regional journalistic organizations (regional divisions of the RUJ) that unite members of the RUJ on the principle of territoriality and operate on the territory of a single subject of the Russian Federation; On the territory of a subject of the Russian Federation, as a rule, a single structural subdivision of the RUJ operates. Local journalistic organizations (local divisions of the RUJ) united members of the RUJ on the principle of territoriality, operate on the territory of a single municipality and are members of the structural subdivisions of the RUJ. In the structure of the RUJ are also branches and offices of the RUJ operating on the territories of those subjects of the Russian Federation in which no regional or interregional journalistic organizations (divisions) of the RUJ are present. In foreign countries, branches and offices of the RUJ may be founded in accordance with the legislation of those countries. 6.2. Offices and branches of the RUJ are not legal bodies and carry out their activity on the basis of the Regulations approved by the Secretariat of the RUJ. 6.3. Heads of the offices and branches are appointed by the Chairman of the RUJ and operate on the basis of authorization. 6.4. Structural subdivisions of the RUJ have the right to obtain the rights of a legal body, or not to obtain them. 6.5. Structural subdivisions of the RUJ that have the rights of legal bodies are independent in the decision of their internal issues, but their charters should not contradict the present Charter or the current legislation of the Russian Federation. 6.6. The structural subdivisions of the RUJ that do not have their own charters carry out their activities on the basis of the present Charter. They are independent in decisions of their internal issues. The supreme governing organ of such divisions (organizations) is the Assembly (General Assembly), called by the Chairman as needed, but no less than once a year. Decisions are made at the Assembly by a simple majority of votes by members (delegates) of divisions (organizations) present, unless otherwise envisaged by law. The Assembly (General Assembly) is recognized with no less than half its members (delegates) of those divisions (organizations) present. At the Assembly (General Assembly) of members of the divisions (organizations) indicated, a Chairman is selected for a term of five years, who supervises the activities of the divisions (organizations) in the period between sessions of the Assembly (General Assembly), as well as an auditing committee (auditor). The Chairman acts in the name of the division (organization) without confirmation in relations with legal bodies and individuals. The Assembly (General Assembly) hears and approves the accounts of the management bodies of the division (organization), takes decisions on early termination of authority and decides other issues of the activity of the division (organization) of the RUJ. 6.7. The RUJ is the full owner of the property belonging to it. The structural subdivisions of the RUJ that are not legal bodies have the right on a day-to-day basis to manage property assigned to it by the RUJ as the owner.
