    Organizational structure: AAAF has a functional structure with the board of trustees (BOT) providing oversight functions over the management team. There is an external audit team that reports directly to the BOT Management functions are departmentalised into programmes, administration, finance with functions either decentralised or centralised as appropriate. The organisational structure clearly indicate the chain of command. The span of control are defined by a range of policies and manuals covering financial procedures, human resources, equal opportunities, regulations within the sector etc.
