Mission statement:	Every Casualty is dedicated to ensuring that every life lost to armed violence is promptly recorded, correctly identified and publicly acknowledged. Its work is based on the moral imperative to recognise the unique value of every human life, and the practical, legal and societal benefits which result from robust and credible casualty recording. Every Casualty effectively acts as an independent professional body for casualty recording organisations worldwide with the aim of promoting support for the diverse range of casualty recording practitioners, facilitating greater professionalisation and standardisation of the field, and improving international understanding of casualty recording work.
