Purpose of the organization:

Our Purpose Statement is an enduring statement of AMSWS’s reason for existence. It describes what we do, whom we do it for, and how we do it: Sovereign Aboriginal Peoples with a state of well being, consistent with our holistic concept of health, at least equal to that which existed prior to invasion and colonisation, enjoying all the rights and responsibilities inherent in our unceded sovereignty. AMSWS will work collaboratively with our Members, Patients and key stakeholders and our endeavours will be driven by our guiding Principles of: Our Vision In collaboration with our Members, Patients and Partners, the Aboriginal Medical Service Western Sydney is the Leader in improving the physical, social, emotional, cultural, and spiritual wellbeing of Aboriginal People
