Speaker for the productive sector, FIESP stands for 131 trade unions, representing approximately 150 thousand companies of all sizes and of all manufacturing industries. It is the largest class entity of the Brazilian Industry.
The current structure of FIESP reflects the strategic thinking and the balanced treatment given to the various productive chains and trade associations, irrespectively of the size of the companies or the segment to which they belong.
FIESP counts on nine Superior Thematic Boards, coordinated by the Roberto Simonsen Institute (IRS), which prepares guidelines for the works of the Departments of Research and Economic Studies; International Relations and Foreign Trade; Infrastructure; Environment; Competitiveness and Technology; Agribusiness; Micro, Small and Medium Sized Enterprises; Legal and Labor Affairs; Construction; Defense and Security. In addition to that, there are the Committees of Young Entrepreneurs, Social Responsibility, Cultural Action and Institutional and Governmental Relations.
