Mission statement:	COURT OF THE GRAND DUCHY OF DRAKENBERG Summary of legal and humanitarian Aims: A. HUMANITARIAN The Court will lend support to humanitarian initiatives to relieve poverty and suffering wheresoever the same may be found. This is one of the prime aims. B. POLITICAL The Court is opposed to totalitarian regimes. It advocates democracy in and self determination for all nation states. C. DIPLOMATIC The Court, after due consideration, will lend its support to diplomatic efforts in connection with A. and B. above, particularly where those efforts have already attracted international sympathy. D. RELIGIOUS The Court has no position on religious affairs in modern times, provided the religious posture of others does not cause tension for the Court’s policies in connection with A., B. or C. above. E. INDUSTRIAL The Court is opposed to the exploitation of other nation states by multi-national corporations for their own gain. F. ENVIRONMENTAL The Court approves efforts to reduce global warming and the preservation of the environment, whilst recognising that a balance has to be struck between such efforts and the needs of society generally, including and in particular those of emergent and developing nations.
